A padded mat that turns a table, a worktop or a chest of drawers into an ironing surface, for homes where a full board is one piece of furniture too many. Thick padding under a heat-resistant face takes the temperature so the surface below does not.
Lay it flat for ordinary pressing, or hang it by the built-in loops and steam a garment vertically.
The fabric is made to stand up to a hot plate and repeated sessions.
A protective mesh cloth is included for pressing fabrics that mark easily.
Folds down small and hangs on a hook, so it stores in a wardrobe rather than a cupboard.
Sensible for a small flat, a dorm room, a studio or a suitcase, and just as useful for a quick collar touch-up before the front door as for a full basket on a Sunday.
