A rolling sorting station that does the tedious half of laundry day before it starts. Four bags sit side by side in a frame, each holding 10.6 gallons, so whites, darks, colours and delicates are separated at the moment the clothes come off rather than tipped into one pile.
Every bag pulls out and lifts free of the frame, which means the full one travels to the machine on its own instead of the whole unit being dragged across the floor. The shelf on top holds detergent, a stain stick, a measuring cup and the odd single sock waiting for its pair.
The frame is solidly put together and finished in rustic brown with black uprights, an honest utility-room look that also passes in a bedroom corner or a walk-in wardrobe. Wipe the shelf down and machine the bags when they need it.
