A small sweeping set for the crumb-sized messes that do not deserve the full-size broom. The brush gathers what is on a worktop, a windowsill, a desk or a stair tread, and the pan catches it in one pass rather than pushing it onto the floor.
Both pieces are moulded in plastic and finished in blue, and the pair nests together so they hang on a hook or slide into a drawer without the bristles bending. Light enough that the set travels: a car footwell, a caravan, a tent porch or a workshop bench all benefit from a brush this size.
Around the house it earns its keep on pet hair in a corner, potting soil on a shelf and the fine dust that gathers on a radiator top. One brush and one pan are supplied. Rinse the bristles under warm water when they clog.
