The body is food-grade silicone with a stainless steel fitting, measuring 9.2 cm, or 3.62 in, long. Keeping air off the wine is what slows oxidation, so a bottle opened on Friday is still worth pouring on Saturday, and the seal means it can lie down in a fridge door without leaking.
