One hundred pegs cut from 100% birch hardwood and dyed in ten colours, ten of each: red, orange, green, yellow, white, pink, purple, sky blue, dark blue and rose red. Each peg measures 2.8 in.
The dye is a good-quality one, so the pegs are odourless and hold their colour rather than fading to a washed-out grey after a season on the line. Colour-coding them is genuinely useful around the house: one shade for the laundry line, another for sealing snack bags, a third for the notes on the fridge.
